How Do We Manifest?

How do we manifest

How do we manifest? To me, it’s interesting that we even ask the question, because, well, we’ve been manifesting our entire life. It’s just that like most people, we’ve been manifesting unconsciously and by default, and when we first discovered that we could actually manifest consciously, we felt that we needed to know HOW it’s done. So, my goal with this article is to tell you how you’ve been manifesting until now, which is going to help you manifest your specific desires as a conscious manifestor.

Before writing this article I was thinking of all the big things that I have manifested in my life, and I can tell you that for most of them, I didn’t affirm or practice state akin to sleep (SATS), I just assumed that it was done, or that I could have it. In both cases, I left doubts a the door, as it were, or at least I was able to keep my doubts very low.

Capture the feeling associated with your realized wish by assuming the feeling that would be yours were you already in possession of the thing you desire, and your wish will objectify itself. – Neville Goddard

One thing that you need to realize it’s that you don’t need to be “perfect” to manifest your desires, you just need to make sure that your dominant thoughts, beliefs, and feelings are matching your desires. One of my personal favorite Neville Goddard’s quote is “you don’t manifest what you want, you manifest what you are.” So, if you can’t seem to be able to manifest your desire it’s because your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings don’t match it. It’s as simple as that.

It is NOT Your Human-Self that Manifests

In your own bosom you bear your heaven and earth, And all you behold, though it appears without, It is within, in your imagination, Of which this world of mortality is but a shadow.” William Blake – Neville Goddard – Be What You Wish

If you were to do a Google search with the phrase “how do we manifest?” you’d notice that you’ll get all kinds of how-to guides about manifesting your desires and even some that are telling you that if you want to manifest something you have to be willing to “put in the work” that is needed to manifest what you want.

But if you are familiar with the law of assumption and the teaching of Neville Goddard, you probably know better, and you know that works and manifesting have nothing in common. As a matter of fact, Neville said that “you don’t have to lift a finger” to manifest your desires because the only real work that you need to do is within – in your wonderful human imagination. This is why manifesting is so natural and effortless. If it did require external works to manifest, many of our desires might not be attainable for our human-self. Our human mind and body have their limits. Our God-Self, however, is limitless.

Your Desires Are Your God-Right

Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. — John 14: 1-3. – Neville Goddard -Your Faith is Your Fortune

The whole purpose of this 3D life, in this body, is to experience God. God is the spiritual force that is within each one of us, and we can choose to let our God-Self dormant, or we can choose to awaken that God-Self and live a life by design. It’s up to each individual. There is nothing that is going to force anyone to awaken spiritually. As Neville said, “You want to eat worms, eat worms. Do you want some more? Some people choose to be victims, even if it’s unconsciously, and thus they are victims their whole life. Your God-Self will allow you to experience whatever you want to experience.

In the past, I had “chosen” to be the biggest victim I knew. I manifested people who would abandon me, betray me, and hurt me in one way or another. I was depressed, feeling like a failure, and broke… Yes, that was me. I had embodied those states and they were my “evil companions” for years and years. I didn’t know any better back then.

One day, however, when I was at my lowest, I had made the conscious decision that I was no longer interested in this thing called life, and I said out loud that if my life wasn’t getting better by the end of that year I didn’t want to be around anymore. Soon after that I discovered the teaching of Neville and it changed my whole life.

Our God-Self is totally impartial, and what human society calls “right and wrong” doesn’t really apply at a God-Self level. For that God force, everything and anything is just a state, and creation is finished. There is nothing new under the sun. If you choose to do something “wrong” it’s because you’ve accepted to embody that state. If you choose to do something wonderful it’s because you’ve chosen to embody that state. Either way and as far as we know, all states are allowed to exist. Now, don’t ask me why, because I do not know the answer to such a question, because as long as we are on this plane we will never know the answers to all the questions, but we know that much.

When you have a desire, it means that you can have your desire. If you couldn’t, you wouldn’t even have the desire in the first place. No matter how much you may “judge” your desire, it’s Divin in origin.

The Easiest Way to Manifest

Even though I had tapped into the law of attraction for over a decade when I discovered the law of assumption, I was still a huge mess, but if anything I’d say that the law of attraction is a stepping stone to the law of assumption. So, while I was learning more and more about the law of assumption and about manifesting, I went back to my past and noticed that everything that I had manifested, good or bad, was based on my assumption. When I assumed something to be true (even if it was the biggest lie) I had manifested it.

That’s how I manifested people, jobs, moving to the US, learning two foreign languages, my health, my financial situation (the old one), and finally the man of my life.

Yes, indeed, the ONLY thing that you need to manifest is the belief that it’s yours or that you can have it. But the reason why I am an advocate of imaginal work, affirmations, and other techniques it’s because I know that not everyone can just assume what they want, and even the same person might be able to assume easily in one area of their life and not in another. I know this all too well because I am my own proof of that. While my favorite manifesting “technique” is assumption, at times I had to use a lot of visualizations and affirmations to be able to change my concept of self in a few specific areas.

If you can’t seem to be able to just assume that your desire is yours, don’t feel bad about it. I know that there are some manifesting coaches that won’t teach you any other way because I guess that they believe that if they could do it, everyone else should. But I heard too many people telling me that just believing that they are God of their reality and assuming that they can be and have what they want wasn’t cutting it for them. That’s why, while I know that assumption is the BEST thing to have to manifest, I also know that oftentimes we need tools and techniques to get there.

So, don’t feel bad for needing them. Even though we are the Operant Power, we are in this body with this limited mind of ours that believes that we are limited, and thus the need to use those techniques to soften the voice of our human-self and listen to our God-Self more and more each passing day, so when can become the master manifestors that we truly are.
